I can't wait until I turn 16. I am working a part-time job and am saving up money to buy my first car. Right now, I am 15 and not that far from being 16. I am looking at taking Driver's Ed while I am in school, instead of this past summer. One thing you have to look in to is how much driving lessons cost. I have looked at costs both on line with a private instructor and taking it for a school course. Iam going to take the course through my school and is about $150 cheaper for my parents. Good idea for my parents, right?
I have decided to go to the library to get some books on driving so I can be ahead of my class in learning things. Well really I did this to learnsome meanings of words thatI found in the book like what defensive driving is, and also what dsa meant. Does anyone know what the letters dsa mean? Well, I went to look it up and come up with 'The Driving Standards Agency', 'Digital Subtraction Angiography', and of course 'Direct Selling Association'.
As I was flipping through one book I come across the letters dsa and they were talking about 'The Driving Standards Agency.'. Now one can only think it would have something to do with driving. I would say like driving up to standards, like for instance how many tickets you have received in speeding, how many accidents you have had, how many times have you been warned.
Also in this book you learn how to drive defensive not only for yourself, but for other drivers also. Now when you think of defensive the first thing you think of is football, like a defensive end.
Everyone knows you have to get a permit before you can start driving lessons. You will have to read your text book that will have lessons to outline, lessons to answer questions to, and then after you are done with the book, you will start driving lessons. I never knew there was so much involved just to get a driver's license, but am glad I am starting early.
