Vehicle Rapture

It was in summer of 2008, and during our vacation, I thought of enrolling for a driving lesson. Me and my sister enrolled at a driving school. There were few enrollees at that time so the school management referred us to their other branch in the nearby town. Their instruction was not that clear that's why we had a hard time looking for their branch. Yes, there were more students there and majority are males.

The first two days were all about theories related to proper driving. On the following day, we did the actual driving with the assistance of the driving instructor. We used a jeep for our first day of practice. The instructor said that it is better to handle a heavy car when learning so that it will be easier to handle lighter car in the future. He also instill in us that we need to follow instruction when driving.

Learning how to drive heavy cars other than scooter is such an achievement for me. I know that in the future I will use this skill to drive my own car going to work. I love driving and I can say that I am a careful driver. Unlike my sister, she drives without even thinking the danger along the road. I wish she would be more careful. She always forgot the instruction and always made mistakes.

We have a car at home, asides from my brother-in-law, none of us knows how to drive at all. He works overseas now and the car is stocked at the garage for long time. That is why we took driving lesson so we can use the car again for transportation purposes.

Knowing how to drive is an advantage to every person but it needs some rules and instructions we must follow in order not to violate the law.

First, we must apply for a driving permit or we must have a driving license. A driver must also be mentally and physically fit. The car to be used should also have proper documents. It must comply according to the requirements of the Land Transportation Office. The car must also be insured so that when accident occurs, you will lessen the burden of fine and other expenses. Oops!, don't worry about insurance. There are many insurance groups all over the country. Insurance groups are companies that are responsible for your car's insurance.

Some insurance groups and companies offer a great deal for their services. It's all up to us to select which offer is the best.

Just a reminder to all drivers out there. When driving, always bear in mind not to drink alcohol. Driving while under the influence of alcohol is always the cause of many accidents. Let's always be responsible in all our actions.
