My dad worked in the Road Transport Department. It was not a surprise

My dad worked in the Road Transport Department. It was not a surprise when he wanted all of his children to learn to drive a car as he had a privilege on getting reasonable driving lessons prices. As soon as I had completed my high school, dad enrolled me in a driving class. Actually, I was not quite prepared to attend any driving practice test, but dad had already selected a tutor for me, so, I had to follow as planned.
So, my tutor would fetch me every morning as early as the sunrise. Sometimes, I felt my brain was still sleeping and I did not do well. She was one nice woman, but sometimes, she just gave me heart attack when I overtook other cars and she started to panic. It just made me lose my consistency and made me nervous. It made me wish that we would use auto instead of manual for the driving test.
Sometimes, my tutor would give me extra lessons for the preparations of the driving practice test. Since she knew dad well, she did not ask for the extra payment. Not like a friend of mine who was her student as well. She failed the driving test and had to repeat. Her parents wanted her to get additional lessons and my tutor charged them extra per hour.
During my time, we had no books to prepare for the driving practice test. So, I had to rely on my own determination to pass. I would write down all the theories and focused on some of the heads up the tutor gave me. Even though I already knew how to control the clutch and gas pedals when I was suddenly had to stop on a hilly road, but I was thinking of getting an auto car as soon as I pass my driving test.
When the day came, instead of me being nervous, it was my tutor who was getting anxious and kept giving me the words of confidence. It was not that I did not appreciate her, but the more she did that, the more I had butterflies in my stomach. The only thing that had motivated me that day was to drive an auto after the test.
