Vehicle Rapture

I had been wanting to attend a driving lessons course for a long time now. So busy with my work at school, I was not able to find the time for it. But, I know I have to do it as soon as I can. That will be the only way to start for driving on the road.

All the members of my family, dad, mom, brother, sister, drive our family classic car. I see them every day enjoying driving all over the City. I am the only one just riding, and not driving. I must take my turn soon.

There are a number of excellent driving schools in town. Some of them have been in the business for over thirty years, maintaining excellent records in offering driving lessons course.Some are new comers, seeing the population growing at an amazing rate. There is one school right nearby where we are living too.

I took the advice from my dad and registered for a driving lessons course at a school which had been in town for over ten years. It was a highly reputed school with many learners attending each year. In fact, many of my friends had also taken the course there.

I was very happy taking the driving lessons course. The instructor was excellent. He was really very thorough in conducting the lessons, theoretical and practical aspects of driving.He emphasized safe driving at all times. There were about thirty learners in my class, people of all ages, male and female, and of different nationalities too. It was a nice community. We could also make friends with one another. Everyone was excited looking forward to the opportunity to get on to the road soon.

The course took three weeks.We were all set then to go for the tests, theoretical and practical. I was quite nervous when I got the date for taking the tests. But, our instructor was all behind us making us feel happy and relaxed.

It was a big surprise when I took the tests. I passed the tests, theoretical and practical, right at the first time. I couldn't believe it myself when the test conductor stretched out his hand to me and congratulated me with a big smile. That was one of the happiest moments of my life. The credit goes to the instructor and the driving school.

My dad was there with a big smile too. He congratulated me in a very special and unique way. He gave me the key of our family classic car, and asked me to drive home. That was a very special gift of the day from my dad !
