Automatic cars are starting to become popular. Why? Because, automatic cars are very convenient and easy to learn. This is why many aspiring young drivers tend to prefer this kind of vehicle since it is much easier to learn than the classic car which is basically manually driven vehicles. One noticeable thing in automatic vehicles is the absence of clutch pedal. Only the break and gas pedals can be seen. When starting your car you only have the gas to watch out for and when moving you just shift to drive gear and your ready to go. While driving there is no watching out for clutch and shifting of gears anymore and the car will adjust to your speed as you glide your way to your destination. Basically it is the right foot and not much of the left foot that you will be using. In fact, they say you can totally avoid using your left foot when driving since you can use your right foot when pedalling for breaks and gas.

Because of this, driving schools have started offering automatic driving lessons since there is a growing for it. Since operation for this kind of vehicle is somewhat different from the manual vehicles, they created a modified course suited for this typ of vehicle. Automatic driving lessons will more likely be focus on this type of vehicle although, lessons on theory will be the same as the regular lesson you would receive from them. The techniques on maneuvers would practically be the same. The only difference is that they will not teach you the aspect of shifting gears and clutch management since it is not needed in the course anymore. Automatic driving lessons are much more simplified when learning it.

There is one limitation that you might get from it, in getting license for automatic driving only, it is limited to that type of vehicle. When one is granted a license of automatic cars you are limited to driving only automatic cars only. While a full driver's license is not restricted to driving manual only but they are for both automatic and manual driving. So this becomes more of a disadvantage than an advantage.

Automatic driving lessons are specifically designed for those that is either having a hard time learning how to drive using the manual driving and there are just those person that prefer to take the automatic lessons. It is not as hard as driving a van on manual gears as those as driving a van in automatic gears. It is a matter of choice or determination what one would want to in his/her driving license.
