Most teenagers cannot wait to get their license, and I was no different. I remember over ten years ago when I was around 15 years old and just learning to drive. My mother's boyfriend is the one who gave me the most instruction. He taught me to drive both offensively and to be defensive as well. I know that sounds cliche, but it's a great way to be when you are on the road. You need to have confidence in what you're doing and common sense, but you also need to be completely aware of your surroundings and other drivers on the road.

Today was the day of our first exam. Skiphire told me to wait outside so he could pick me up on his new bike. I called him that because he smelled like a skip. I liked to travel with him on his bike as the ladies seemed to enjoy itAs I waited I thought about the theory test we had coming up today. I never really enjoyed exams but I decided a long time ago what will be will be.

Back then I lived beside Olga's skip service whichclaimed to be the cheapest skip hire in whole ofAleksandrregion. The area was very near toPolkserRiver in its final course. Everyday I would wander far and away, for hours, along the river. I would generally think about Aleksandr and how it was here in the past. Back then, we had various festivals, particularly May Day, and All Saint's Day. The young women would all wear traditional coloured garments and dance to the tune of our flute. All that tradition is a big laugh now. Men and women don’t care about it anymore. Things are changing fast.

I awoke in my comfortable bed, a bit tired yet i knew i would have to get up some time soon as i had work that day. I got up andgot dressed quickly, and made myself some butter on toast and somedelicious orange juice at a rapid pace.I did notwant to be late one more timebecause my boss, John Smith, is,lets just say he is not the kindest man on the planet. My motorcycle is being fixed due to an accident which occurred a few days back involving a child's scooter therefore, embarrassingly, enough, i have to takemy ownscooter i have had for several years now,to work. With my buttered toast in my mouth, and holding my suitcase in one hand, i cautiously ride my scooter with one hand, wishing i had my motorcycle, towards the office in which i work in. It was a 3 kilometre, rough and uncomfortable ride towards the company though i took a short cut in which i had to pass through the forest. After i had passed through the forest, i reached a busy road where i would have to cross. I waited impatiently holding my scooter and my suitcase and still chewing on my buttery toast. Whenabout tenminutes pass by, i got frustrated and took my chances in crossing the road with the never ending traffic. I rode my scooter as fast as i could across the rough road. With caution but with rapid speed, i continued to ride and when i had almost reached the other side of the road, suddenly, i was hit by a red motorcycle. I fell to the ground with a loud noise. Before i fainted, i could read 'skip for hire' on a car which passed by on the road. Suddenly i awoke, in my bed, in my house. Realising it was all a dream. I looked out the window with relief and found to my astonishment, it was the same skip for hire which was in my dream. Therefore, i decided to not go to work that day, calling in sick. I was glad i did not go to work though i could not say the same with my boss, John Smith.

It was in summer of 2008, and during our vacation, I thought of enrolling for a driving lesson. Me and my sister enrolled at a driving school. There were few enrollees at that time so the school management referred us to their other branch in the nearby town. Their instruction was not that clear that's why we had a hard time looking for their branch. Yes, there were more students there and majority are males.

The day has come, the day most parents spend their whole lives dreading has finally arrived for me. That day is what you may ask, well that day is the day my sixteen year old son asks me for car driving lessons. My husband and i have been preparing for this day since the first day we ever saw our son crawl. It was on that day that we knew our sons terrible motor skills would help him become capable of destroying anything and everything that gets in his way. We already had a whole list of insurance groups that we were going to look over with.We knew that we wanted to teach him about themotor just in case of an accident or he needed to replace a part for the motor.

I was completely fed up of riding my bike to school every day to be able to attend my classes. I mean, do not get me wrong. I loved riding my bike. My bike was my favourite possession. I loved riding it on a weekend of after school after a busy day of work. I had even signed upto go on a cycling trip from one coast of one country to the coast of another country. I knew it would be hard work but I did love riding my bike. The problem was, I was getting to an age where I wanted to not just be riding my bike, but driving my own car. All my friends were already attending classes at driving school and some had already even passed their theory test and many had said the theory test was easy. I knew that I wanted to be one of the people saying they had attended driving school classes and had passed the theory test and was just waiting for the driving test. It was my current ambition. My other ambitions were to own a luxury apartment and have a very rewarding career but they were ambitions for the future and right now I just wanted to be driving my own car. I had dreamt of the moment my instructor had said I was ready for my test, and I had dreamed equally of the moment when my examiner said I had passed. It was one of those moments I would remember for the rest of my life. I knew it would be and I knew that I would just want to go and celebrate. I would take care of my licence and follow all the driving rules so that I never risked getting a fine or risk getting points removed from my licence. I also knew that I would never forget about my bike. My big, purple, shiny, clean and expensive bike. But right now, a car was what I wanted more than anything. I decided to join a driving school and as soon as I met my instructor, it all felt right.

The letter that Alison's daughter had brought home filled her with dread. It was leave your car at home week. This meant that all children had to come to school on foot, roller skates, a scooter or riding a bike and meant that Alison would have to walk with her. She thought to herself maybe no one would notice if she let her daughter ride pillion on her husbands motorcycle that would count, after all it only had two wheels rather than four and a much smaller engine, however she knew that this would defeat the object of getting children healthy and helping the environment. Alison knew that the school would try and get her involved in volunteering for the moms race at the sports day, or running one of the stalls at the summer fete. At least in the car she could quickly drop off her daughter Rebbecca and drive off quickly being accosted by any member of the Parent teacher association. The story behind it was that she used to be very close to one of the members on the association and when they fell out after she had borrowed Alison's car and crashed it, then refusing to pay for repairs, she turned sour and began spreading vicious rumours about her. Rebbecca had come home from school many times in tears, and so as not to rise to the accusations Alison decided it was best to stay away from the school altogether, but being the only all girls school in the area and having the best standards in education and results she decided it was not the best idea to take Rebbecca from the school she had been at for 4 years. But couldn't help thinking that her plan of using her husbands motorcycle still looked appealing.

Strewth, every thing's so expensive these days. It's bad enough I live in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Every thing's just soooo expensive and it's not as if people's wages are going up to match the recession. One thing about the recession, though, is it's forcing people to get really creative with how they spend their money and start to see the real value in things. Anyway, I'm moaning about the cost of living 'cos I just found out skip hire costs are definitely not what they used to be. I'm better off building my own skip! They're so pricey to hire. But the thing is I really need a skip so I'm gonna have to cough up the money for it one way or another. Plus, I have to look for the money for my driving practice test and lessons. Thank God my dad gave me the funds for half of it. I might need to get a Saturday job to fund the rest of it though. Like skip hires, a driving practice test plus the lessons involved doesn't come cheap. If I do get a Saturday job, it'll have to be some place I enjoy. I know beggars can't be choosers what with the recession but I want to enjoy where I work. I wouldn't mind working at Lush or The Body Shop.I hope I get a good driving instructor. I wouldn't like to spend all that time following an instruction here and an instruction there from a totally obnoxious patronising instructor. Actually, scratch that, the worst thing would be if they had b.o. or bad breath. I'm one of those people who tries not to embarrass people, so I probably wouldn't tell them and then spend the whole lesson suffering in silence. Anyway, I'll cross that driving practice test when I get to it. For all I know, I might receive an instruction or two from a really hot one!

When I was about 16 1/2 years old my mom and I started looking for driving schools so I could prepare for my licence test.So once we found a driving school that suited our schedule I started my lessons. The classes last about 2 months.Oh my the first driving practice test I was so nervous my palms were sweaty my heart was beating a thousands times a minute and this was only the first practice test I still had 2 more to go. I didn't know how I was going to survive these lessons if i didn't calm down and start to focus. So as the month wore on I had come up with a strategy which consisted ofstudyingbefore and after class out of the booklet that they give to you from driving school. So on my last and final driving practice test I passed with FLYING COLORS and was now READY for the behind the wheel lessons. This was the FUN PART!! I got to get behind the WHEEL of a CAR!!! Yes to me I thought that this would be the less nerve racking then taking the actual driving practice test. But to my astonishment it was not at all as easy as I thought it was going to be. I had to remember that I was no LONGER in the CLASS room but behind the wheel of a CAR.. And so once again came the sweaty palms and beating heart . But When I slid behind the wheel of the car with my driving instructor in the passenger seat. I realized that he was here to help me and instruct me. So I took a deep breath started the car and took off the parking brake put the ignition in drive and began to drive. And all of a sudden it became like butter and I was driving very well for it being my first time behind the wheel. By the end of the hour with my instructor I was confident enough to know I would pass both my written test and driving test when it came time for me to go to the department of motor vehicles. And just a note for anyone living in the UK and is a Disabled Student you my qualify for the DSA program. The dsa program is for disabled students who need help paying for their courses. To apply for the DSA you must be enrolling into a course that is a year long.

Sometimes you can find the right driving lessons course on-line. One that maybe your insurance groups, will even recognize and gives you a cut rate for; if you’re really luckyyour insurance group’s rate will reduce your premiums significantly because you can qualify for the course as a defensive driving course as well. Parents don't mind the extra money for this course because it cuts the insurance groups rate on young drivers.

Today I start my new driving school. I am the third daughter to my parents but i will be the first to take my theory test. You see my dad is kind of old fashioned and he has convinced himself that the men should drive for women. That for women to drive is asking too much. I was definitely not be the first to try to convince my dad of letting us drive but when my sisters took a theory test and both failed that only convinced him more than ever that we women should not drive. I had to present the idea to my dad with an "A" on my theory test and some insurance documents. I knew that if he saw I was prepared for an accident with the insurance he would definitely have to trust me.

I can't wait until I turn 16. I am working a part-time job and am saving up money to buy my first car. Right now, I am 15 and not that far from being 16. I am looking at taking Driver's Ed while I am in school, instead of this past summer. One thing you have to look in to is how much driving lessons cost. I have looked at costs both on line with a private instructor and taking it for a school course. Iam going to take the course through my school and is about $150 cheaper for my parents. Good idea for my parents, right?

Lee felt it was about time he got some independence, he was the laughing stock of his college with his mom driving him to all his classes, he really wanted to get a motor of his own. His old rusty bike was no less embarrassing, he had had it for many years and the amount of times he had mended the punctures in the tyre, the inner tube looked more like a patchwork quilt. He decided to take up his dads offer to pay for driving lessons, as he could not afford them being a student and after paying his house keeping money.

Geoff had worked in the motor trade for many years, he worked at the local car auctions and had seen many a banger pass through and some nice top of the range sports cars too. The car he drove at the moment had been bought from the very place he worked. It wasn't anything special and had been in a crash a few months previous to him buying it. He had got a good deal and had used the car as his hobby at the weekends so that he could get away from the nagging of his wife Natalie. Since she had lost her job she was always finding faults in everything he did. He would just be happy when she was back in work rather than spending his hard earned cash during the day and nagging him to almost breaking point in the evenings after his hard slog.

Our 15 year old son wants to learn to drive a motorcycle. I am afraid for him to get on one and have no idea how to train him to drive it correctly. I asked my ex-husband to check into some driving lessons prices and they are very expensive to send him to learn. Robert has no idea how to drive one either and no one we know has a motorcycle that would want to take him on and teach him.

If I ever owned a chocolate shop, I'd call it something like 'skip hire uk' just to put people off coming in to buy it. Then I'd sit down and wolf them all down. The word 'skip hire' isn't the most attractive word I've ever heard. I'd rather hear 'exams' said over and over. I don't know what it is about the word but I find highly dull.A friend of mine had a motorbike. I don't see enough women on a motorbikes except in the passenger seat, so it was good to know she had one. Unfortunately, it got stolen so that's the end of that. I hope she was insured.
